Thankful Thursday!

My adorable frat boys off to visit UNR!
At home sporting his new UNR clothing!

I am thankful that Kevin has three universities offering him substantial golf scholarships. Between flights to St Louis, we are now also spending time each week going on official visits with Kevin to the different universities. This Thursday it was at University Nevada Reno.

Kevin (along with Robert) came away from the visit pumped and excited about UNR's incredible golf program. Kevin probably would have signed, sealed and delivered today had Robert not been there reminding him that he needs to give the other two schools the same opportunity.

I am immensely grateful for Kevin being given such an unbelievable talent when it comes to golf. It has been the best thing in the world for him (and for mama). He is so focused and driven when it comes to the game. For the last 5 years, Kevin has spent hours nearly each day on the course perfecting his game. He got a job when he was 15 at the local course just to be able to golf daily for free and get free range balls.

The best part is he has become such a gentleman on and off the course. Thanks Kevvi, for giving us the privilege to go with you on these recruiting trips. Lots of fun!!!

Giving Thanks!

That's so awesome! You must be SO proud of him. What a wonderful opportunity- what a blessing to see him put in so much effort!

Don't you know that I WILL be having Nick read this post! My talented golfer hasn't had much success at his tournaments this year. I really think he gets nervous and it affects him greatly.

Anyway, I am so excited for Kevin (and you!), keep us updated on what he decides! And we'll be watching for him on TV in the future. Believe me Nick watches ALL the tournaments and tells me all about them, whether I want to hear it or not. :)
